Alpacas of Oklahoma recognizes and commemorates the contributions of these meritorious people who gave of their time, talents, and considerable efforts to our organization. By establishing this Lifetime Achievement Award they will be recognized as Lifetime Members of our organization. We will also remember them at our annual A-OK Alpaca Blast-Off Show and A-OK Rose Rock Alpaca Show. Alpacas of Oklahoma is indebted to them for their generosity in building a legacy for Alpacas in our State and Nation.

Lifetime Achievement Award Recipients
• Steve Hull
July 9, 1953 – Nov. 19, 2019
Father, Teacher, Mentor
Stephen Simmons Hull Jr. passed away Nov. 19, 2019, after a three-year fight against a rare cancer. Steve was born in Jersey City, NJ on July 9, 1953, to Stephen Simmons Hull Sr. and Jean Holthausen Hull. He and Kathryn Reilly were married in 1978 in Westboro, MA. Steve spent the first half of his adult life researching sudden cardiac death and the last half raising alpacas and teaching animal husbandry and pasture improvement to alpaca owners.

• John & Janice Robinson
“Just Right” Alpacas was a delightful and successful Alpaca Ranch for many years in Jones, Oklahoma. John & Janice served A-OK in many elected positions through the years. Their knowledge & experiences still echo among the membership today.


• Karen Storm
Karen Storm was very active in A-OK in the organization’s early years. Her show string appeared and won at national shows. She served on the A-OK board and retired before 2020. We still are blessed to see her at our show from time to time.
