Effective July 11, 2026, the Basic Member annual dues period changed to October 1 through September 30.
In the past, A-OK Basic Member annual dues were due January 1 each year and covered the calendar year.
Because of this change, dues previously paid for the 2026 calendar year expired September 30, 2026.
This one-time adjustment to the membership dues period was made following an emailed survey conducted in June 2026 at the request of the A-OK Board. The survey was sent to paid A-OK members, with one survey sent per farm or ranch and up to two responses permitted per farm or ranch.
Basic Membership Dues
Effective October 1, 2026, annual A-OK Basic Membership dues are $90.00 per ranch/farm.
Please note:
- Membership is not contingent upon exhibiting at the A-OK Alpaca Shows.
- Membership is valid through September 30 of the following year.
Membership Term
Membership purchased on or after October 1 is valid through September 30 of the following year.
Renewing Membership
After September 30, renewing members pay the regular annual dues of $90.00 per ranch/farm.
New 1st Period Basic Membership
A-OK is pleased to offer all NEW Basic Members their first membership period FREE simply by joining. The free membership begins on the date of enrollment and continues through the following September 30.
After the free membership period ends, renewal at the current Basic Membership dues rate is required to continue membership.
Junior Membership
A-OK is pleased to offer free membership to Junior Members age 18 and under. Our goal is to encourage interest and involvement in the alpaca industry, whether or not the Junior Member owns alpacas.
If the parent or guardian of a Junior Member wishes to have full voting privileges, we encourage them to enroll as a Basic Member. As with all new Basic Members, the first membership period is free.
A-OK Benfactor Option
All Basic Members also have the option of becoming an A-OK Benefactor. For an additional $75.00 per year, Benefactors receive several added benefits.
Your farm or ranch ad will appear on the A-OK website homepage. You will design and supply the ad by email to A-OK’s webmaster, and it will be hyperlinked directly to your website. It’s a great way to promote your farm or ranch to visitors to the A-OK website.
Benefactors will also be recognized in the A-OK Alpaca Shows Show Book, where your farm or ranch logo will be featured.
